Aims:
To promote the recognition of nurses working in research over a wide variety of settings, roles and functions and to raise the public and professional profile of nurses in research.
Objectives:
- To provide an environment in which research nurses can network, exchange ideas, seek information, provide education and investigate issues of concern.
- To provide a united voice for research nurses.
- Encouragement and provision of an avenue for personal and professional communication between research nurses in Victoria.
Meetings:
Meetings are held in March, June and November and are a great forum for networking and encouraging peer discussion. These meetings usually include a guest speaker and a topic of interest, followed by a business meeting. Light refreshments are provided. The Annual General Meeting is held during the Professional Development Day in September.
