Aims:
To promote the recognition of nurses working in research over a wide variety of settings, roles and functions and to raise the public and professional profile of nurses in research.
Objectives:
- To provide an environment in which research nurses can network, exchange ideas, seek information, provide education and investigate issues of concern.
- To provide a united voice for research nurses.
- Encouragement and provision of an avenue for personal and professional communication between research nurses in Victoria.
Meetings:
Meetings are held quarterly on the 2ndThursday of the month and are a great forum for networking and encouraging peer group discussion. The meeting venues are held at rotating sites of Melbourne Metropolitan Hospitals. The September meeting is designated as a professional development day. The Annual General Meeting is attached to the September Professional Day.
These meetings will include a guest speaker presenting topic of interest followed by business meeting. Light refreshments provided.

Membership:
Membership is open to all interested Research Nurses. The yearly membership fee is $40
