Reminder to ACNSIG members that our next general meeting will be held on Wednesday 26 May at 2pm - ANF House, Boardroom 3rd Floor, 540 Elizabeth St, Melbourne, where we will discuss:

  • Allocation of new grants
  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
  • Planned activities including a Pamper Day.

Afternoon tea will be provided.  Your attendance is encouraged.

WHAT'S NEW

This website is an excellent opportunity for those of us working in aged care to share what's happening on our own piece of turf. The new ACNSIG wants to use this venue to inform those interested of its activities and plans. We would like to hear from people out there who are involved in interesting projects or events to share the good news. Most of us work in environments where the daily challenge to provide quality care is hampered by limited time and resources. We have become so used to this situation that we consider it normal. Yet many of the comments made in our survey of members indicate that there is much that is positive and encouraging in our work places. To highlight these positives, we invite you to share with us what's good about your workplace, events, activities, facilities, outings etc which brighten up everyone's day.

WHO'S WHO?

We are also interested in meeting you, and would like to publish a personal profile on a regular basis with a photo and some details about who you are and what you do in aged care, remembering to convey what you love about your work and its positive aspects. This is not a forum for complaints or problems, rather one to share what we love about our work and our clients.
