			<title>Prison nurses to start protected industrial action over wages and conditions</title>
			<description>Nurses will hold two-hour stop work rallies tomorrow at 12 noon outside five prisons: Barwon Prison in Lara, Dame Phyllis Frost Centre in Ravenhall (this rally will include nurses from the Melbourne Remand Centre), Hopkins Correctional Centre in Ararat and Loddon Prison in Castlemaine.</description>

			<title>Eastern Health uniform allowance update</title>
			<description>Members would be aware, Eastern Health recently decided to cease paying the Uniform Allowance to those employees not required by Eastern Health to wear a specific uniform. The ANF (Vic Branch) challenged that decision in the Federal Court on the basis that, while there may not have been a requirement for a specific uniform, nursing and midwifery employees are obliged to wear particular styles and types of clothing nevertheless. </description>
