Participants sought for Victorian Enrolled Nurse Study

Participants are sought for a study entitled Understanding the unfolding phenomenon of Enrolled Nurse Medication Administration in Aged Care Nursing, being conducted at Victoria University.

The purpose of the research is to gain an understanding of how the relatively new phenomenon of EN medication administration impacts on nursing skillmix, nursing care, workload and job satisfaction.

Volunteers are currently sought for interviews (about an hour's duration), which can be conducted at a location convenient to the participant and at a mutually agreeable time.

Participants must be:

  • EN (Not Medication Authorised or Medication Authorised) or RN
  • aged twenty five years or over
  • currently working in aged care (Aged Care includes and is not limited to Nursing Homes, GEM, Secure GEM, Aged Rehab, Transitional care etc)
  • employed in Aged Care prior to 2007
