Practice Nurse - 2010 Annual Wages and Conditions Survey

1 September 2010, 5:00am

All practice nurses are encouraged to complete the 2010 Annual Wages and Conditions Survey being undertaken by the Australian Practice Nurses Association (APNA) with the assistance of the ANF nationally.

In order to bargain with employers in general practice or run a case in Fair Work Australia for a multi-employer enterprise agreement for general practices it is essential we have credible and accurate information about current wages and conditions in the sector.

The survey is designed to provide a guide to average wages across the country and also provide us with information about other conditions such as education and professional development leave, annual leave, parental leave, allowances and overtime. Strong participation in the survey will result in better and more reliable data which will assist us in negotiations and in any case we may run for practice nurses within Fair Work Australia.

The survey is confidential and takes only about 5-7 minutes to complete.  Click here to complete the survey

Practice nurses are also invited to attend the Practice Nurse Seminar to be held on 28 September 2010 at ANF (Vic Branch) 540 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne to discuss industrial issues for practice nurses.

We realise it will take time out of your busy schedule to attend the seminar and complete the survey. However, for ANF and APNA to move forward on your behalf we need your input, information and involvement.
