The ANF, HSU and Bupa met on Wednesday 14 October 2009 at Fair Work Australia for negotiations chaired by Commissioner Cribb. We are pleased to report that those negotiations made significant progress towards reaching agreement for a new enterprise agreement.
As a result of our progress Bupa, the ANF and HSU have agreed to the following:

The ANF has agreed to cease all industrial action effective immediately

Bupa has agreed to suspend the current ballot process (the vote will not start on 16 October)

The ANF and HSU will meet with members and employees on Friday 16 October at 6.45am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm at each facility

The ANF will withdraw its application for bargaining orders
The meetings on Friday 16 October will be supported by Bupa management and we urge interested employees to attend.
