Interested in a career in nursing? Then come to a Diploma of Nursing Information Day

Applications are invited from people interested in undertaking the ANF Education Centre's HLT5607 Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled nursing). Satisfactory completion of this course will allow application to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia for registration as an enrolled nurse (formerly known as Division 2 RN).

 

  • study full time   
  • at a central Melbourne location    
  • have your education funded*   
  • study at Victoria's only nursing focused RTO (Registered Training Organisation)   
  • be taught by a team of some of Victoria's most experienced nurse educators

Course commences: Monday 19 March 2012
Applications close: Friday 17 February 2012
*This course is subject to funding for Skills Victoria.

Place: Carson Conference Centre (Level 7), ANF (Vic Branch), 540 Elizabeth St, Melbourne

This course has been approved by the former Nurses Board of Victoria and is therefore recognised and approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).

However, interested applicants must note that the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia has implemented a new English Language Standard which states:"All applicants must be able to demonstrate English language skills at IELTS academic level 7 or the equivalent, and the Board may require this in a number of ways. An internationally qualified applicant or an applicant who did not undertake and complete their secondary education to the requisite level required for entry into a nursing or midwifery program, taught and assessed in English must demonstrate that they have the necessary English language skills for registration purposes by achieving the required minimum score in each component of the IELTS academic module or OET.
