ANF is intending to raise this matter directly with the relevant
employers and will advise the outcome of those discussions to members in due
course.
In the meantime, ANF encourages members who are concerned about
the Nursing and Midwifery Health Program Victoria's future to sign the online
petition on your home computer, smart phone, iPad or tablet or alternatively
ask a friend or colleague if they can assist.
The annual $560,000 operating cost of the Nursing and Midwifery
Health Program Victoria - which has supported hundreds of nurses, midwives and
nursing and midwifery students - is the equivalent cost of replacing five registered
nurses/ midwives.

Board of Australia should fund and expand this program to assist nurses and
midwives across the country, their patients and their employers.
