Ninety-three per cent of Royal District Nursing Service
nurses and community care aides who voted in the recent Australian Electoral
Commission ballot have voted to approve the new RDNS agreement.
An application will now be made to Fair Work Australia for
approval of the Agreement. ANF is confident that this process will be dealt
with quite quickly by the tribunal. The agreement will come into effect seven
days after formal FWA approval.
