Healthscope EBA Update No 3

Ballot for new Healthscope Enterprise Agreement
In EBA Update 2, ANF notified members of the intended dates for opening and closing of the ballot to approve the new Healthscope Enterprise Agreement (EBA).
These dates were subsequently amended to 23 July 2012 and concluding midnight on 25 July 2012.
The ANF remains hopeful that the ballot will occur on these amended dates, however a further amendment to the EBA is being considered by Healthscope. If this amendment is made later than Monday 16 July, this will delay the ballot for a further 7 days as the Fair Work Act requires employees to have access to the amended EBA for 7 days before voting can commence.
ANF will update members as soon as the situation is clarified. This will have no effect on the outcome for members, with dates of effect unchanged.
