Nurses and midwives doorknocking in the Bentleigh electorate

Hundreds of nurses and midwives will doorknock in the Bentleigh electorate on Saturday 11 February to talk about how patients will be affected if ratios go and nurses are replaced by health assistants. Register here if you are able to participate.

Elizabeth Miller, a former nurse, holds onto Bentleigh - Victoria's most marginal state seat by just 262 votes.

Nurses and midwives will be talking to the residents of this electorate about how they and their loved ones will be directly affected by the Baillieu Government's plan to end mandated nurse/midwife patient ratios and replace nurses with health assistants. Read the media release.
