Grants, scholarships & awards

ANF is committed to assisting its members achieve nursing excellence and offers several annual grants, prizes and scholarships. ANF members and ANF Special Interest Group members are eligible to apply for several the grants, scholarships and awards. ANF will call for applications for the majority of its grants, prizes and scholarships in late March 2010.

This section provides general information about the scholarships, grants and awards ANF distributes to members each year.

ANF $5000 Annual Research Grant
This $5000 research grant is available for Masters and PhD students. Applications open late March 2010. [ READ MORE ]
The Irving Buzzard Midwifery Prize
The ANF (Vic Branch) in conjunction with the Australian College of Midwives currently implements the Prize under the auspice of the Australian Nursing Federation (Vic Branch) to whom the fund is entrusted. 2009 nominations are closed. [ READ MORE ]
Hannah Sellers Job Rep of the Year Award
Each year ANF (Vic Branch) awards the $1000 Hannah Sellers Job Rep of the Year Award to an ANF Job Rep who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to the ANF and to ANF members in the workplace through outstanding recruitment, dispute resolution or any other exceptional initiative that improves their colleagues' wages, employment conditions or ability to provide high quality nursing care.
