ANF members are encouraged to nominate an HSR (elected under the OHS Act 2004) who has demonstrated outstanding achivement and commitment to occupational health and safety in the workplace. Achievements may include:
- protection of nurses from workplace injuries and illness
- leadership and innovation in workplace health and safety
- resolution of workplace health and safety issues or disputes
- representation and consultation.
The successful HSR will be selected by a panel comprising the ANF (Vic Branch) President, Secretary and OHS Unit Co-ordinator. The award is presented at the Annual ANF OHS Conference in on Tuesday 7 September 2010.
