The Irving Buzzard Midwifery Prize


The ANF (Vic Branch) in conjunction with the Australian College of Midwives currently implements the Prize under the auspice of the Australian Nursing Federation (Vic Branch) to whom the fund is entrusted. 2010 nominations close 17 September 2010.

Now in its 75th year the Irving Buzzard Midwifery Prize is a pre-eminent Australian midwifery award acknowledging clinical and theoretical excellence in midwifery.  The winning candidate will receive the coveted Irving Buzzard Prize badge and $1000.

Applicants must demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the development of midwifery skills and practice.

Applications close 17 September 2010.

The winning candidate will receive the coveted Irving Buzzard Prize badge and $1000 at the ANF (Vic Branch) annual general meeting in December.
