The Irving Buzzard Midwifery Prize


The ANF (Vic Branch) in conjunction with the Australian College of Midwives currently implements the Prize under the auspice of the Australian Nursing Federation (Vic Branch) to whom the fund is entrusted. Nominations are now closed.

Now in its 76th year the Irving Buzzard Midwifery Prize is a pre-eminent Australian midwifery award acknowledging clinical and theoretical excellence in midwifery.  The winning candidate will receive the coveted Irving Buzzard Prize badge and $1000.

Applicants must demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the development of midwifery skills and practice.

The winning candidate will receive the coveted Irving Buzzard Prize badge and $1000 at the ANF (Vic Branch) annual general meeting in December.

The nomination form Part A and Part B are to be forwarded by Friday 21 September 2012
